Ontario Public Libraries Week (October 19-25) highlights the important role public libraries play in our communities. And as Ontarians, we love our libraries.
What can you do to support your library workers?
- Visit your library and thank the staff.
- Tell your councillor that you appreciate the great work library workers do in your community – and remind them that properly funded library services are a priority for you in the municipal budget.
- Tell someone about a library service you learned about recently – there are many stellar programs and services.
- Get a library card. The tool on this page will help you get or renew a card.
